A new school year is underway and I've been invited to try Time4Learning for one month in exchange for a candid review. Time4Learning can be used for homeschool, afterschool and summer skill sharpening. Be sure to come back and read about my experience.
The kids are already having a blast with it :)

Already Amazed!
The end of week one and already I am amazed!
not only will I be challenging him this year but he will be challenging me!
he has become my 'star pupil' can't get enough of seat work activities... huh, who is this kid????
how she is able to learn right along side her older brother and has already mastered holding and using a pencil.
Amazed with their playful hearts.
Amazed with the way they love and lift each other up... with a little encouragement :):)
Amazed that I am blessed to be their mom!
Psalm 139:14
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made..."

First Day Success
What a great day... a little hectic, but all in all a success.
We started with our new tradition of heading to Dunkin Dounuts to celebrate "non back to school" Then to the jungle gym in the backyard to work off that energy :)
Then it was time to get the little ones involved
so I could spend some time getting Sean
settled into his new routine.
Robert was so much faster at this...it blew

which is such a switch from the end of the
year when they're itchin for free time :)

Sean was a trooper helping me out with
the little ones and making sure they
had a fun first day...Go Big Brother!!
Brushing up on some times tables.
Then off to TimezAttack for the real test.
The end of a full day...now I'm off to prepare and rest up for tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by :):)

Classroom 2010
Ahhh...This is our much needed change. All set ready to start in the morning. My oldest was so excited when he went to bed and I told him he was going to wake up a "4TH GRADER!"
I am quite excited myself, I have to say, to feel so organized... I hope that translates into great accomplishment...
... tune in this week to find out :):)
Here are the promised pictures of our NEW classroom.
We walk in the room through the preschool dramatic play area.
Ahead is my storage closet...
where I can try to make my hoarding
problem look more civilized :)
Next the Computer Lab...
a favorite even among the preschool set.
Our Workboxes and tot boxes.
I hoard books as well as craft supplies.
Reading Corner
More handy storage
Back towards the preschool play area.
This is really a toyroom/schoolroom.
This is the hidden treasure I found
in the laundry room...
....what you ask????
Taaa Daaa!!
My new Poster Center Holder
Far more useful as a school item
then a laundry item :):)
Well that's it for now...
....thanks for taking a look.
Better get to bed
we have a BIG day tomorrow!!

Great Morning
Ahhh...this morning is already starting out much better then yesterday. Got my bike ride AND shower in and the kids are just starting to get up. Yesterday I got as far as the bike ride and then the day just seemed to start before I could get to the shower...after spending the day in my workout clothes I contemplated whether 8pm was too late for a shower and ended up just slipping into the bath with my two year old...at least I got to freshen up before bed :) hmmm
Speaking of slipping away...where did the first week of August go???
I was going...GOING to start school the first week of August...time for a new plan...good thing we're flexible here.
I'm so excited to be adding the younger two children "officially" to our homeschool this year in pre-K and preschool (they are 2.5 & 4.5) along with older brother who will be starting 4th grade.
We have moved our schoolroom downstairs this year as my son and I were both growing weary of the kitchen table...blahhh. We have a fresh new start this year and we are really excited. I'll post some pictures later today.
So now this weekend we are all about getting ready for our first (our new first ) day ...Monday...yeah!! Actually we have started the past month working on acclimating a loose school day routine and now we're going to plug more school stuff into it and polish it up. I was trying to avoid the shock of a sudden total change and the resistance that entails...trying to think ahead ... Every once in a while it actually works :):)
